Ashley’s career at Nix Industrial shows how growth can evolve across multiple areas of the business.
She started in an inside sales and customer service role, working directly with customers and learning how projects begin. From there, she moved into HR and business administration, gaining experience in team member support and internal operations.
As she continued to grow, Ashley transitioned into production support, getting closer to day-to-day operations. Today, she leads Operations Excellence (OpsX), helping drive safety, quality, and productivity across the company.
Her path is a great example of how understanding the business from multiple angles can lead to impactful leadership roles.
“Growth at Nix Industrial doesn’t follow a straight line—it comes from staying open, gaining exposure, and taking ownership of your path. Early roles build a strong foundation, even if they don’t seem like the perfect fit at the time. The key is to speak up about your goals, be willing to try new opportunities, and stay adaptable as you learn what truly fits you. If you’re willing to put in the work and keep learning, there’s real opportunity to grow.”
